Buddy Hooper's first memories are of his mother and father working side by side on their farm in a small east Texas town. He was bewildered when they took their produce to the market. His blue eyes still light up as he talks about those days. It was his first look at the business world.
After relocating to Orange, Texas, and working at a shipyard, Buddy's parents pursued the American dream and opened a grocery store. Wanting a better future for their son, they encouraged him to continue his education. Buddy enrolled in the University of Houston, majoring in Business administration while working full time at Sears Roebuck and Company.
After college, Buddy joined the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He later left Goodyear, founded JMB Tire and Appliance and pursued his own American Dream.
As his business knowledge grew, so did his business holdings. Which came to include a chain of Tire Stores, Nationally distributed Magazine, Restaurants, Publishing Companies, Record Label, Artist Management Firm, Newspapers, Dance Halls, Motels, Service Stations, Chemical Manufacturing., Boat Building, Video Dating Service, etc.
During this time, Buddy faithfully continued his education, and eventually became a Business Consultant specializing in the areas of marketing, sales, and efficiency management.
